Will I know what's happening during the build?

The most common complaint about builders isn't quality — it's silence. Here's what good communication looks like, and what to ask for.

Ask anyone who's had a bad building experience and you'll usually hear the same thing: it wasn't the workmanship, it was being left in the dark. Before you hire, it's worth knowing what good communication actually looks like.

Who is my point of contact?

You should have one person who knows your project and answers when you call — not a different voice every week. Ask who runs your job site day to day, and how you reach them.

How often will I hear from you?

Regular, scheduled updates beat occasional surprises. On our builds you'll know what's happening this week and what's coming next — progress, decisions needed from you, and anything that affects schedule or budget, before it becomes a problem.

Can I visit the site?

It's your home. You should be able to walk the site at agreed times and see progress for yourself. Ask about site access and safety arrangements up front.

How are decisions and changes handled?

Good communication isn't just updates — it's clarity when something changes. Every change should be documented, priced, and approved by you before the work happens, so there are no billing surprises at the end.

Questions worth asking any builder

Our standard is simple: one dedicated team, clear communication at every stage, and no surprises. You always know where your project stands.

Thinking about building?

Every project starts with a free, no-obligation conversation about what’s possible on your lot and within your budget.
